To be honest I never thought I'd be the kind to take these trades. I can't rule out luck, but when the herd mentality kicks in, it gets a bit easier to spot these mis-priced opportunities. I guess that's what we always look for; mis-priced assets in one way or another. These are mostly DT, not ST though.

SRF IMO should have been expecting that result, so the selling was overdone. VTG; ex-hubby of MD was awarded $16m of shares in family court and had been dumping them, so that was an obvious mis-pricing. EHE I'll concede to luck.

Wider than usual stops (as said, too tricky to pick the bottom, so a wider stop gives you some room), counter that with smaller than usual position sizes and they feel OK to me. A quick read on fundamentals too, to see the reason & ensure the administrators won't come knocking.

No harm practicing these trades when available if they suit your risk tolerance, just another tool in the belt.
