Forget the research to be done, firstly the person(s) involved isn't/aren't competent enough to read or make sense of the news.
Even at my workplace which is very well reputed in Australia - if you go back and check the reassarch reports almost everything is copied off others' reports and news articles - just that the punctuation marks have been changed or the sentences paraphrased in minimal quantity.
Me being in constant touch with the financial markets over the years even though I don't write or contribute much, read from the sidelines and haveing had exposure can to this can make out the blatant plagiarism that comes out of these reports(thanks to everyone else keeping me informed ) and the incompetent people who polish their resumes off airtasker - prime example of many such people in the ASX running the show.
If this gets moderated, so be it - I'd know why
