A question I have been meaning to ask is why is our price being muscled down? I raise this because some people don't believe that we are being prepped for TO, yet these same people believe that our price is being manipulated lower.
Is there another reason then? I don't believe simple traders/shorter is the answer, because they would not be so confident about picking the bottom.
I guess it's possible that WPL/COP wants to be able to point to FARs share price as evidence that their transaction price is in line with the market?
This is the repetitive line of their PR proxies on the HC forum: "that's all the asset is worth. Extrapolate from your own share price."
Some judge in Paris may not realize that the WA division of the ASX is essentially the wild west and may be influenced by this.
