What are we doing to Aborigines?

I find it difficult to believe that in just one day our media reports the following news about how Australia's indigenous people are being treated:

Yep, that's right! The man in budgie smugglers who PROMISED a referendum to better recognise Aborigines in our  Constitution but FAILED to do so while he slashed and burned their share of the Budget is now reported to have spoken out against a Treaty.

Fair dinkum, you couldn't make this stuff up!
