Yes Dave, and I am amazed by the hipocracy shown by these people: They want the public to pay $3+ per kilolitre for their drinking water, yet a water bottling company recently "negotiated" a price of $2.50 per megalitre for drawing groundwater of up to 150 megalitres annually with the Victorian government. Retailing the water for $1 a one litre bottle would amount to 400,000 times the cost to the company of the underlying commodity.
This is what water privatisation is all about.
