    acturtle...

True, I am usually most vocal during the initial periods of "value transistion"...but who wants to hear about it well and truly after the fact?

lol...anyone can do that, evidence of which we see here daily...unfortunately however, not many offer anything we can actually make money out of...before hand!

As for me being "long gone" after the fact...I typically hold a parcel of most stocks I am interested in, if I see long term growth potential. If however I feel it has run too far, too hard, or the dynamics have changed, I typically post my thoughts. The fact I may cease posting has nothing to do with my position in the stock...but is due to running out of things to say.

CAZ, NDO, CQT, SRK, CRE, QFX, MLI, etc, are just a few examples of continued positions on my part, in spite of reduced postings.

Besides...do the maths...you really expect me to keep posting to the degree I do on every stock that catches my eye...indefinately? lol...I am afraid there simply isn't enough time to do so, which is why I tend to limit my efforts to just one or two stocks at any given time...and typically, during the most difficult periods for the market to assess likely outcomes.

This of course is the transitional value phase; that dynamic period when information is usually scarce, people are confused and generally, where the greatest leverage exists, for everyone!

Above all else, my research is for me...and I do it on many more stocks than I am prepared to share on here...but when I do share it, my goal is to give the average retail trader (me included), a fighting chance against the "suits"...no agenda, just happy to share that which I have already compiled for myself.

Anyone who follows my posts from the outset on any give stock, will recognise the gradual process of awareness that I go through, as more and more of the pieces fall into place. The ones who don't recognise this are more often than not, those who only appear once the horse has bolted, inoring the fact I have just covered a stock over a 200% or so rise. No...they decide to take it upon themselves to abuse me if the stock should retrace 20% or so from its high...as if it is somehow my fault?

Looks good...might even make them feel important...but it is cowardly behaviour at best.

The bottom line is this...my interest in the market is that of early realisation of value and all the "activity" that comes with it, worts and all...if I see a case that I feel offers oportunity for everyone, I am happy to share it.

There are some stocks however, where illiquidity, corporate issues, or simply doubtful outcomes suggest a reasonable likelyhood of failure...in these cases, I rarely share my thoughts.

I currently have 4 stocks in ths category at the moment...three very illiquid and one with possible corporate issues...all of which offer massive upside should certain conditions eventuate. None of which are worthy of sharing however, because I feel any level of wider interest could set of a significant, yet short-lived run, more than likely stranding many in it's wake.

How easy would it be for me to post my research on these stocks, all genuinely pointing to serious upside, in full knowledge it will likely result in losses for most who buy into it? But hey, it will offer me the liquidity currently missing, into which I could sell...

    Right?

Wrong...integrity actually means something to some of us...as such, these stocks will not be shared.

Acturtle...it is clear from your comments, both now and in the past, you are higly sceptical of my character...fine...that's your prerogative.

I do however have a little exercise for you...

How about you give us all a stock; one that will likely offer significant upside near term (days/weeks). Show us your research and perhaps discuss your reasoning...particularly how you arrived at your analysis...and do so in a way which presents all the facts, so we can clearly make our own minds up?

After which, we can all have the choice to accept it for what it is, look into it a little deeper, or even question your motives from behind the safety of our screens.

When it has run 200%, if you are of genuine character, you might than finally have an idea why I do it?

lol...further, you might also understand what it then feels like when cowards come out of the woodwork, questioning your motives and abusing you character...simply because the stock has given back 20% of it's gains.

    Cheers!
