Most shorters are day-traders pretty much.
So even they have to cover.
Lately its been a pattern of throw rocks in the morning and then rush the close of trade.
At least a few days lately short positions have lost as the price was higher at close than at start.
Sell side is pretty weak back to 39c.
Could easily happen again today. Be careful malmanu, soho etc.

ASX200 entry won't stop shorters but there are funds that will want to take up positions given the short time frame to shipping and shorters will need to factor in that these funds could easily have the appetite to line-wipe these under-valued shares at any time.

Galaxy already has its clients. They've requested more product, even knowing that things are late.
Was there a mention that they also visited site?
We may be the first lithium company with a 150% offtake deal.
They are already negotiating new pricing for 2017.

Greenbushes isn't an increase in supply.
The Kwinana plant is a processor - the beginning of local vertical integration.
The Australian lithium processing industry is now appearing on the map, with jobs and new expertise in lithium etc.
    Build time is 2 years.

Despite the delays there are only a few coming only until at least 2018 (NMT, possibly Altura and Nemaska), and no-one to compete for our specific clients in the independent spodumene industry of China.

Perhaps one of the better news items today, is that President Obama (apologies to the right-wingers here) is going to focus on climate change when he leaves office. Even those who hate him have got to hand it to the guy - he knows how to deliver a powerful passionate message and as well intentioned and well-informed as Al Gore was, he was not really in the same league.

I, personally, can't think of a better spokesman for the next phase of applying pressure to governments and appealing to the people to elect governments who will act quickly. Technology and industry has already handed the solution with solar and lithium. A little push from government is all that is needed.
Norwegians are already buying EVs en masse, 8 years out from their transition.

btw @sachz - check out your own post history.
Recognise this ? 2 weeks ago when Canaccord had already informed the market of a delay.

    "Let's all be blunt.

This stock had been manipulated, in fact all lithium stocks (bar 1) have been targeted by the shorters.

It's now acknowledged that heavy shorts were placed TWO WEEKS before the I'll fated Macquarie report. Nobody anywhere has backed Macquarie in their report, globally, and everywhere one looks it's been advised to just ignore it.

Hold tight if you have this stock and ignore price swings over the next few months. Else accumulate what u can on the lows..

Santa is going to bring home the bacon on this one come Christmas time later this year, I'd strongly suggest avoiding trying to day trade this one as the $4-$5k u might make will look like chump change by EOY."
