Ralphi, yes agree that VRLPA could be oversold due to investors who held it for the high dividend getting out (i.e. imputation funds that look for shares with high franked divs) but there has been a biggish gap for a while now - I would probably put it more down to the fact that VRL is tightly held (Kirbys etc) so not many sellers whereas VRLPA is held by shorter term investors, so with all the negative publicity around Village lately there has been many more VRLPA shares up for grabs - which in my opinion are one of the best long term investments available, so it suits me!!
The 10% rise today suits me too!!
The volume on the VRLPA usually between three and ten times higher than on VRL.
