Agree funnyman .... but what other reason could they have? .... That's why I tend to think there is no 'secret deal' but purely administrative problems in that they have not provided what FAR requires to do proper due diligence ..... but having said that, if there is a side deal along the lines of 'we'll sell you this now if you sell us that later' then if they thought they could get away with it and save $20mil or so in tax (in a country they may never intend to have dealings in again in the future .....and at the same time WPL may be saving tax dollars on the other side of the transaction also ..... well you just never know, they may have just thought 'FAR can't/won't preempt, CNE has given the wink they'll turn away and as such we'll never get called out on this' .... but again, I doubt it also and would be surprised.
