re: merging mid tier company by 2008 nice to look over the past posts and see that my thinking was sound.
i agree with riding the profits. i keep wanting to pull the trigger and take a profit as my average buy price is somewhere in the low 30's, but i would have to then have to pay the tax and find a better home for my money when i don't think anything in the market can match cbh as an investment over the medium term. Plus i bought it looking for a 10-bagger and now it's only a 2-3 bagger. Also, my forecasts for a 10-bagger were using $1.20 zinc and as i type, zinc is pushing 2 bucks.
this is only the beginning for cbh. it seems that the stope collapse is now old news and we're back to the business of mining. next on the agenda is the growth of production and the addition of the gold circuit at endeavour to maximize returns from Hera ore. Also SS announcement, CML7 progress etc. etc.....positive news will keep this train rolling.
