If you have a bit of a sqiz at the link I posted recently, you'll notice that ConocoPhillips Angola 36 & 37 Ltd + ConocoPhillips Senegal BV are on the hook for the Athena.
As of March 30, 2016, the day rate for the Ocean Rig Athena was $706,026. ( I assume this is USD ).

So if I were a Woodside shareholder and given they have told everybody that they are taking over Conocophillips Senegal BV, I'd be asking PC if he is aware that he may also be taking over the Athena contract at a cool $706,026 per day or $21,180,780 per month or as per the previous link: The contract is due for completion around 2Q 2017. ( Let's just call it end of Q1 ), = $21,180,780 x 7 months = $148 million USD or approx. $207 million AUD.

I'd also be asking him about any other liabilities that ConocoPhillips Senegal BV has on its books. ? ie. have they been paying their bills or do they still owe Ocean Rig and others for services rendered ?
So many questions when you start to really think about it.
Like Cath says - who the hell would buy a company without looking at the books ?
