This message is not directed at you specifically but I was just reading some posts and needed to have a rant.

What the hell is with all of the long term holders needing constant reassurance that everything is going to be OK every time the SP drops a couple of pips? Seriously it is really starting to grate me.

I love the strait forward posts of some of the guys on here reminding LTH's of the fundamentals but it shouldn't be needed every day to keep the holders comfortable with their investment. I used to laugh when I would read these and then someone would reply with something like "Thanks for that, I was starting to worry". These posts don't tell anyone anything they don't already know (provided that they have glanced at any of the companies announcements).

In a nut shell here is how it is from my view:

1. If you want to get out in the next few weeks... I hope you bought lower than the current SP or else you are screwed. No one has any idea what will happen in the next few weeks. Everybody had a nice chunk of green in their portfolio in the last couple of weeks that has been dwindled away. That is how this is going to work from now until IW#2 either wait for it to pop up again in the next 6-8 weeks and then sell or get out now and invest in a bluechip stock to avoid the huge swings.

2. If you are in this until IW#2 you are going to see a nice run up in the SP prior to drilling and results (very similar to what happened with IW#1). You have 2 choices wait for the results and cross your fingers that they are good or sell on the run up and avoid the risk of the announcement.

3. If you are planning to be in this until buyout you are all good at the moment. Forget about the day to day share price... You weren't selling anyway.

Can everybody just take their hands off the panic button and chill for a bit... As far as the trolls go please put them on ignore so we can stop having the same ridiculous conversations with morons. As the saying goes "never argue with stupid people because they will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
