He is a classic bulls-eye for the Libs. He was a spin specialist who was able to con weak minded journalists into believing he was a hero. The media fell for it without doing any research to prove it of course.

All this rubbish about Conroy not telling anyone is purely to get media attention. The ABC will be able put him in as first story as "shock retirement by ALP hero".
