Im no diamond expert, but I have read lots about diamonds, and I know when diamonds are CUT, you know so they look nice and pretty and gleaming, they sell for a hell of a lot more than rough diamonds

, my question is, would LOM make more money for itself by sending all these special rough diamonds its found to say tel aviv or Mumbai to get them professionally cut, and than putting them up for auction?

Say a rough 30ct pink might sell for what $1-$5million?
But a cut and polished say 25ct pink (yes some ct is lost during the cutting process I know)
would sell for $10million+ wouldn't it.
have LOM looked into this?
cutting the gems and selling them, instead of just selling them rough and getting a very low % of their actual worth in auction.
