Bruceyg; fascist laws that enable corporations to run amok and as in here in Australia to even imprison whistle-blowers for exposing corrupt and fraudulent corporate practices have NO place in a nations claiming to support democratic practices.
As for caring about the rights of 'lawyers' covering up corporate malpractice etc ..... surely you jest?
The manner in which our values have been abused since September 2013, wherein the separation between politicians and our judiciary have been compromised and the HRC viciously denigrated should concern all Australians.
The extent to which Australia has descended into strong fascist support by government for corporations [eg. with an additional $50BILLION gift to large corporations currently proposed] is IMO alarming.
What a sad state of affairs it is that except for occasional coverage by Fairfax and The ABC that our media has all but censored ICIJ revelations - leaving us to wonder Y oh Y would they cover up corporate malpractices?
