Firstly it is common knowledge that ANL have been discussing the supply of ore from HRR for more than six months and as far as I am aware, this is still ongoing.
Secondly,late last year, HRR ore was tested at Murrin Murrin.
HRR's ore is of a different type than that being fed at Murrin Murrin and as far as I am aware it is of a specific category that is of higher grading and uniformity which requires LESS acid to treat.
All I am prepared to say at this stage is that my un- named but qualified source is of the opinion that only HRR's ore can turn the fortunes for the laterite operators.
One would think that any discussions that have been taking place for more than six months between HRR and ANL must have some merit. Could also be (IMO) that HRR have not been willing to make a decision until it is satisfied that all the problems at ANL have been finalized.
