Re: sea level rise, well I hope I am wrong about climate change on this one. The one metre rise in sea levels predicted by the end of the century would effectively wreck just about all the major cities of the world (that are on the coast). And all that real estate made worthless...its too much to even think about eh?

Lastly; CLIMATE CHANGE vs GLOBAL WARMING. The IPCC was formed in the 1980s remember and yes, its still called that. Do I have to tell you what the CC stands for? Oh yeah, I believe it was the GWBush administration that decided it would be better to call it "Climate Change" instead of 'global warming' as a sort of propaganda measure so that people would not worry too much about continuing to burn fossil fuels and causing the planet to warm. Which it is doing.

As far as tin-foil hats go, gosh, I though that global conspiracies were the main weapons of the deniers. When all the facts are pointing to the obvious conclusion, out come the theories of scientific collusion and secret UN government.
