Just took a sml pilot stake in NHC. New Hope Corp (COAL)
Pilot is for the SMSF, as had no exposure to any coal. One will do.
Big volume spike recently, biggest in over 6 yrs. Not a STT tip, as a $1.3b stock...looks like around $1.50 is bottoming after long downtrend for 5yrs.
Just made very large all cash purchase of Thermal coal mine NSW possibly very bottom of market cycle.(40% stake) and is CFP + pays divs
Also has a gas/oil business in Copper.
