XPE - story of my salty life haha. still bummed i missed recouping losses from the 3.4 sell out, prior to the recent big announcement on Martin's appointment to the company. 6.5 c now, if the trading halt today comes out with a revenue agreement with a major company it could touch up really quick. Why do you think this one will not hit revenue agreements and head towards the graveyard though?
Always wondered why NHC would not re-rate, i hadn't done research but i believed it was their previous declining production profile. IT was being flagged as heavily cashed up with a warchest some time back a yr or two ago, so I would have thought they would re-rate on th eability to pick up a few good coal projects over the last year or two. Guess they were being prudent and not jumping in too quick.
Didn't realise they had a gas/oil business though!
@MickMaverick @Xela.hc no worries. i should probably create a new email for hotcopper correspondence in gmail too since there is no PM system to message private detials across outside of public eye.... I"ll try and put in the remaining STT knowledge library posts right at the end sometime before senidng it through. I hope I can get it done today. Im flying off thurs midnight and have alot to do so if I can't get it don ethis week i promise next week. Hopefully you'll have it by tonight or tomorrow anyway, apologies! I will do some minimal formatting as per usual - increasing font size abit, deleting some spaces etc. I haven't corrected obvious spelling or the like so posts are in their 'original' form.
Someone mentioned earlier, might have been @KDoc ? That the posts could link to the original postings so you could see the context (pre and post the quoted post) and replies, but I never noticed this? The post number was written down, not sure if there's an easy way to use hotcopper to dig up a thread knowing this though? I left all the date posted, post # in except the odd post where for formatting/fitting it into the page i needed the space and removed that line.1 out of 100 though.
GIven my pdf printer wont print the whole library without stuffing up or crashing, if any of you try kdocs suggestion and manage to print it out without all the banners and side interference past the 1st/2nd page, then I'd be keen to get a copy too.
@minoil thanks for getting back! great to hear your story. I'll try and follow your progress anyway. The STT threads for the short one or two weeks I"ve been here have been great. Just a pity for those with less photographic/great memory i.e. me, it can be hard to keep track of specific poster's continuity - i.e. how your 5 grander is going as inbetween you read 20 to 30 other posts. So while generally you can revisit tips it takes some familiarising to remember who is doing what and how this is working out for them. sTill... better reading than reading some sort of brain filling gossip magazine.
It would be a cool idea (probably not as practical) if a cloud hosted google drive spreadsheet or something could track everyone's 5 grander portfolio. people could then access it and view updated progress and it would all be ttracked and easy to view? Provided of course other users would want to journal into it. Probably won't happen haha. I'll look forward to seeing your updates anyhow each friday. Hopefully I can rack up $5k of my own and join sometime next year (at this rate). It's been awhile trading the old $1-2.5k parcels, but perhaps arguably things were more successful for me back then than plouging $,10k on a parcel now.
oh, and I agree - time is the biggest enemy. Wish I had the income and wealth to just take work off and just study/immerse myself in the investment and trading game. No easy path I guess, just like business owners working the graveyard shift after work until they can take off, I guess i'll have to walk the old forest path.
