    1) Good laborers in the construction industry are hard to find. Only 25 per cent of labourers starting a bricklaying apprenticeship continue in the trade. Our company basically gave up and have to employ its employees on a full time basis which is costly when considering they pay for accommodation, living away from home allowance, transportation costs, paying employees a base wage between jobs etc. I can't see the same problems occurring with this method considering it will require a plant operator...

    2) Safety in the Workplace is a pain in the ass. This machine does the heavy lifting. I understand that WHS' purpose is to prevent injuries etc but its time consuming and drains productivity. Couple that with constantly having to induct new employees who don't stick out their jobs on site and its already ahead of itself. With Fastbrick, a basic Safety At Work Method Statement (SWMS) signed by its operator before commencing the project would suffice.
