It ran to 11c on just that sort of announcement. we have copper, looks great, dont know exactly but a geo reckons it might be 2-3% copper.

Why would they be in trouble?? If they are sitting on results and not announcing them, then yes, they would be in trouble.

But if they are finalising pending results, assays, finishing drilling, etc, and they have not finished their testing etc, then they can't announce to the market anything of substantial value.

If it is uranium, and I'm not saying it is or isn't, but hypothetically, if they have discovered some uranium, they will announce this once assay results are complete so they have an indication of grade etc. They wouldn't just announce "We found some uranium, don't know how much, don't know what grades, don't know depth, but who cares cos we found it". That can't be done. That's when they would be in the poo with ASX for not proivding the market with accurate information.
