Don’t be a twit Ben. Australia has been taking in refugees under all Australian govt’s for ages. Under Fraser, Howard, Hawke,Rudd, Gillard, Abbott,and has continued under Turnbull. Your hatred for Turnbull appears deep seated and I wonder what the motivation for that is, but you would know that the decision to modestly up the refugee numbers would have been a collective one by Cabinet and probably strongly supported by the Minister Peter Dutton. To personalise it to Malcolm Turnbull and singularly try to tarnish him for his Cabinet making a reasonable decision, does you no credit.
Labor by the way wants to double the intake and Labor is enjoying huge public support at the moment leading in the polls.
Tony Abbott even upped the refugee intake by a massive 12,000 Syrian refugees over and above the normal intake so you if you are genuine (which you are not) would be livid at that decision. By all means judge the govt for its actions but your focus on Turnbull alone exposes a darker personal agenda imo.
