The Court Hearings Continue

Meanwhile among the chaos, yet another court hearing has been scheduled for 10th of October...as some have already pointed out, this could potentially be a very long and expensive drawn out process. In my opinion IOT's decision to dispose of SK only further suggests there could be some validity to Roam Systems claim.

I know many people see removing Simon as step forward by putting some distance between the legal threat and I'm glad they're attempting to look after the company. However considering what a big part SK played in being the face of IOT and the Roam-e (via marketing, through tv/web interviews, articles and his involvement/meetings with retailers in the US) it can't be ignored that any damage to his reputation (especially regarding how he conducted business) could still potentially effect the way retailers respond to the final product by association, even if his gone.

Just as most people here seem to feel, I wouldn't be surprised if some retailers shared the same sentiment and would simply prefer to have nothing to do with the company. Lets hope management (whats remaining that is) know what they're doing here, because up until now the court case seemed to be a minor issue when compared to the rest of their hurdles.
