re: director morons giving away the company Cristal is based in the Middle East, and I believe is a private company.
It actually sounds to me like BMX was backed into a corner by some very poor moves over the past couple years - I suspect they may have little choice now but to give away half the company to Cristal.
The only option I can see is a takeover by Iluka, and BMX management would lose their jobs so I'm sure they would never encourage that.... (ie. shareholder interests before their own).
