I said something similar might be on the cards a moment ago!

But I disagreed with the following:

"I am not making any opinion because it does look like contents have been leaked out because I can't see the life of me why punters would be pushing so hard without knowing the tone of the language that will set off volatility either USD up or down.", espe. the "leaking".

When I think about the action today, it's pretty clear that currency markets knew what they were doing, were in sync with BOJ, but gold was in a world of its own, initially spiking as the USD soared, which made zero sense. I posted on this at length late today.
So yes, they are in total control.....and damn the rest of the markets....living a world of their own
