most of the people on this thread are pretty cluey - they all realise (obviously) that the market AIM is listed on in London generally follows AIM's performance on the ASX pretty closely. They are avid followers though, and like to give a UK update on this thread for interest and incase an anomoly in trading appears - nothing wrong with that, and no one is suggesting the results in the UK are going to duplicate here on the ASX. There have been times though that the UK has taken the lead - eg. AIM reporting after hours here , so the UK performance does then become of interest to holders . There are other reasons aswell but I wont go into here. I scan through other HC threads occassionally and the AIM thread is one of the better ones on here without the cr#p, the angst, or the inflated egos - lets keep it that way hey.

Also , try and refer to AIM's listing in London as The Alternate Investment Market - its a global market for smaller growing companies made up of about 2000 companies I think - or thereabouts. It should be distinguished from the main FTSE index in the UK you keep referring to - different admission critieria, different rules and regulations. All the best.
