This is nothing new - UOS has been running a buy-back for most of the last 20 years. To date, they've never bought back anywhere near the maximum number allowed for in their buyback statement. Nevertheless, it's not a token gesture. Management (and the vast majority of shareholders) are continuously, albeit very slightly, increasing their proportional holdings by full participation in the DRP and by not selling into the buybacks.
