You know what, I missed a few words there. It should have been "ban all Muslims from a country". Apologies for that. When you take that into context of my experiences with people from those countries I hope it reads clearer. In essence my point was that if we ban whole countries because there are Muslim extremists in it, it will mean we lose people who are good and will contribute.

Changes: from what I understood it started from the Howard government changes to introduce a demand based process for skilled intakes, through to the revision of the points testing system which occurred in 2011.
