The real danger to this company is not the board, it's Norm.
If Norm's campaign succeeds, then the chance of getting a decent person on the board is seriously diminished.

Anyone taking the job will know that they'll have Norm looking over their shoulder and will get the same treatment as Ian unless they do what Norm wants.

Using an underwriter is standard practice and there would have been complaints if they hadn't done it. Sheesh, Oly was complaining cos management are making plans while the demerger hasn't been ratified yet. Using the underwriter guarantees that we will be able to raise the money and can safely plan to use it to progress our company. This is good business and it happens all the time.

If you want to find something to complain about you always can. If they hadn't used an underwriter and the share price fell back and then not enough money was raised, you guys would have also been calling for blood (and so would I). You just have a negative attitude and will find a way to complain about anything that happens.

We are now guaranteed to raise the nine million and that takes us all closer to the riches we all know we're going to get. It's good stuff - the money's in the bag, the demerger will go ahead, we have many announcements to look forward to. Take a deep breath everyone and try to enjoy yourselves. We're very close now to the massive gains we've been waiting for. This negative campaign is just not helping anyone (and in my view it's the only real problem this company has).

Kalmsg, hang in there mate. Sometimes, listening to the craap on this thread can get to you, but the positive outlook you've had on ARU is all based on fact and if you take a deep breath and remember that, maybe you'll start smiling again.
