Could be that AEE are heavily investing (man hours and tooling etc) in this and see the possible demise of IOT as an opportunity to pick up what's left and salvage what they can for distribution themselves. If there are no patents and no company they are free to do as they please. Don't discount a reincarnation by Kantor / AEE. He has been the driving force behind this project.
The fact that AEE are promoting it suggests the development is moving along. The fact that they are promoting it as AEE and not IOT is of serious concern. Would be nice to know the real deal with IOT / AEE.
Don't forget if AEE release it they have an opportunity to significantly reduce the selling price.
I still believe there are too many fundamental floors in the product design. If this drone clipped a tree branch and was to free fall to the ground, how well do you think the body would survive,- 4m to concrete?
Sooner or later someone is going to loose and eye and social media will kill the product.
All in my opinion.
