The SMS messages to Telefonica consumers has delivered nearly 1000 downloads in Mexico alone with less than 1% of the 230 million mobile devices across Latin America targeted in this long term campaign.


this is an install rate of around 0.05% (this assumes SMS messages have been delivered to around 2 million users, which is slightly lower than 1% of the 230m total as reported)

targeting all of the 230m mobiles available, you would get to around 100k installs at this rate, though it is reasonable to assume a better rate due to network effect and word of mouth

out of these, how many are actually using the app? how often?

while it is great that the CPI is improving, without knowing how much $ each of those installs provide on average, it's not very useful
