Well, I must be dumb but I don’t understand puna.jujuy’s argument very well.

Let me explain my confusion: In Jan 2016, the Jujuy Province Parliament enacted a law for the promotion and development of solar energy (Law No 5904) and in May they introduced a regime of ‘administrative servitudes’ to allow the establishment of energy projects in community land (Law No 5915, specially articles 32 and 38), that is to say, land owned by aboriginal communities. In other words, the law aims to make possible the use of land that will be otherwise blocked by aboriginals’ interests.

Following these laws, on 5 July 2016, a regulatory decision was published (Resolution 262, ISPTyV, Expte. Nº 0600-331/2016) affecting a land owned by an aboriginal community in a place called Puesto Sey in Susques which, according to Google Earth, is about 32 km away from Cauchari.

IN THESE LEGISLATION THERE IS NO MENTION WHATSOEVER TO CAUCHARI, OROCOBRE OR ANY RELATED PARTY.

I also note that the Resolution that enacted the first such servitude - and does not concerns Orocobre - was published well after the last quarterly report, in other words, the writers of the quarterly did not have the benefit of knowing a resolution that does not affect their comment.

So...I’m confused: what is the relevance of this furphy?
