imho TLS is worth holding in the medium to long term for it's yield alone. Better than the bank, better than a lot of stocks and what is the downside - minimal I would say.
When the market runs - as it surely will - all of the nitty gritty analysis of market share, strategic plans, broadband issues, services to the "bush" (do they still have shared lines and manual exchanges) etc will be of no consequence and TLS will soar to above $9, from whence it came.
This will paricularly come to pass if it is fully privatised or if that has been approved by parliament.
I further believe that the next election will be held close to it's original schedule but it will also be a double dissolution. The gov knows that it has no chance of getting TLS through the current senate (the States Chamber - what a joke) so why are they putting it up? They are putting it up so that they can add it to the list of DD issues and blow the whole lot of them away in a joint sitting that will have people cheering in the streets (well,me anyway)
imho TLS is a screaming buy - one of the best long term investments around.
