just loaded a Linux Distro from a PC mag..Mepis 6
set up a dual boot still learning how to jointly run some of my windows Software.Like Metastock..
Its wickedly Fast Booting and using Firefox 2 etc
I find its quite a learning curve configuring drivers
ie..I can only run one of two monitors..
Yes open source Free Software is usually cutting edge.
a USB driven OS sounds very handy, must look Puppy up
