a 15 year old friend of the family recently started her first job working in a well known bakery franchise after school and on weekends and on a new employment contract
Last week she was paid a bit over $100 for working the same hours she had worked the week before and was paid nearly $200 with no explaination.
When she questioned this she was told by the owner that she had been docked $90 because in the owners opinion she had not cleaned up properly at the end of one of her shift, a point she disputes and something she had not been in anyway spoken to about proir.
Of course the owner may be right and the kid did not clean up properly but to dock $90 for it is disgusting especially when the kid had only started the job and had no prior warnings about the way she cleaned up at the end of her shift.
and of course the low life owner claims to have the right to do this due to the employment contract.
This kid who was very keen about starting her first job and earning some money for herself is now disillusioned and having second thoughts about working
