Baird is confusing man imo who has taken a contrary positions in shutting down greyhound racing and shutting down coal seam gas in NSW.
For both there was a a loud minority advocating these closures and he ran with it ... what is his driver?
I disagree whole heartedly with killing an emerging CSG industry in NSW ... Metgasco was compensated a grossly undercooked $20mill for a decade of endeavours. Commercially destructive, scientifically unjustified and all the encouragement greens activists needed to step from one noisy ideological campaign to the next and the next and so on.
The greyhound industry however seemed pretty feral, with using strapped in animals to be torn apart cruelly as live bait and culling of non performing dogs.
On the flip side Baird has delivered NSW to be the infrastructure state and Australia's best performing state economy for several years now.
