Well what it says is about 1st Oct new Chinese regulation, and projected another explosive growth of Australian IF, which I had stated on this forum before.
What interests me is on this article is that it only mentioned of two Australian IF, Aptami and A2 (if you only read English you can still look at the photos), not include Bellamy.
Furthermore, here is my observation of the new regulation change which may affect BAL,
1. The new regulation will request the company owns RESEARCH capability, this has become a new standard for a company to be able to register its formula for sales in China. (see link

Well, I don't know much of Bellamy, though I heard they are just a marketing company and canning facility, do they have their own research team or department that will be able to prove themselves to Chinese autority?
2. Another concerns is that, from the first cited article, the new regulation requested the label to specify the origin of milk without allowing ambiguity, so in this case, BAL's mystery has to be disclosed to Chinese consumers now. At current, most of Chinese are still believing the Bellamy IF is sourced from Australian milk, because that is how it was advertised in any article that I could find from Google, and BAL always try to avoid directly answer that to the public. I went to their official website, and see they only play the word game by stating 'We source our milk from cows that graze on certified organic dairy farms and we only source the highest quality certified organic milk ingredients from Australia and the world'. see link

I would be interested to see Chinese consumer's faces after they knew the Australian brand IF is not actually sourced from Australia, what an irony it is.
Well, still wish good luck to BAL holder, as I understand you may only looks at its successful history and and their financial report. What I see is different from you, I see Chinese consumer behavior and most importantly, the TREND.
