I have written a post on the CMQ thread which sets out my position.
Capeman who supported me on the NRT thread was a turn coat and I was blamed for it.
What most posters should have known that the post was not initiated by me but by Capeman. Anybody can put someone's name at the end of what turned out to be an idiotic post.
So guys, don't stand out because the same thing will happen to you too.
There are of course the more innocent accusations and I wouldn't worry about them.
But the odd case where there is that upheaval, the first thing will happen is that you will be identified with someone else; then the damning post with your name at the bottom appears.
Legally, that practice is not acceptable. Very strange too that people immediately jumped at me.
Let us assume that KG and I post on the same code and support each other arguments. That again could be done on another thread. Soon. *some* people would identify KG with me.
Assume now that I post with KG's name at the bottom.
Obviously, it is illegal to claim that KG is me. But certain people would.
So what really matters is who is the *initiator* of a post.
If it were me (it was not), then I would be asking for trouble if I had put the name "Capeman" at the end of my post.
Amazing that some intelligent people don't understand that.
Enough said,
Gerry
The word "Capeman" was unacceptable as an Alias by me anyway. I prefer quality: read my CMQ post.
