I would certainly consider a 200 MW VFB grid scale (see last entry of table) ...

I suggest that the problem we have at hand is that the myopic manufacturers of wind turbines aren't addressing/collaborating with those that can produce these sorts of batteries. They have had a good time producing some turbines which up until now have been supplementing power generation at low capacity with little impact on grid stability. The wind farm builders have been equally myopic. Tesla Motors at least recognise that they will never have a 'Volkswagen' model until they can address lithium battery supply logistics.
