Thanks @Thesi that makes alot of sense.
The 70,000 tonnes of crushed ore stockpile is quite impressive, given that at 50% yield should achieve 35,000 tonnes of spodumene. This obviously reduces the amount of processing time required.I guess I was also wondering if there would be some actual spudumene built up during the commissioning process (or earlier), which may be also available prior to the "official production" start up in November..?

Anyway back on the subject of the december shipment amount, I have just discovered an updated Canaccord Research Paper just released on the website which quotes 10,000 tonnes shipment:

    http://www.galaxylithium.com/Investor/reports/161003CanaccordUpdate.pdf

("Our current expectations of a shipment of ~10kt of spodumene concentrate by end of Q4'16 remain unchanged".)

Interesting that they have supposedly not changed this estimation since their previous report of some time ago. Like you I am hoping that 20,000 tonnes or more is achieved in December.
