I agree with part of context of your post but, not in relation to most of it.
1) I've been a LTH in other stocks before and still am in only 1 currently.
2) traders or st that think they will be instant millionaires are not traders... they are dreamers....
LT that think they will be millionaires on specs that are not transparent and heavily manipulated, are not smart LT investors they are naive and old fashion investors....
Investing and trading in equities have evolved so much in the last 10 years that's no joke.... IMHO only, there is no blue chip anymore... i could give you 10's of aussie examples and 1000's of international equities examples that have fallen so hard from a blue chip status.. some went bust, some got TO, some just became nothing.....
Banks, FIN instos, sophisticated investors/traders and others do not invest LT as much anymore.... you do not need to believe me.... just need to read weekly ASX announcements or overseas on other exchanges and see how banks and fin instos change positions so rapidly nowadays.... "Change in substantial holding for....." , "Ceasing to be a substantial holder", "Becoming a substantial holder for...." and so forth....
3) no comment... plenty of them everywhere... it's like, 6 to 1... no joke.....
DHR is looking interesting today....
XPE could be re-testing 4.3c this arvo IMHO... looks like 4.4c is almost done... maybe couple of more turns and it will resume lower.
Unless a positive news or the "supporter' decides to prop this up.... it will drift lower no doubt IMHO...
