In the real world its not that simple. If you saw how some carers live looking after their sometimes badly immobile/paralysed family member and to do that its full on and have to basically survive on a pittance of a carers pension which is basically the age pension with a small loading. If you would want to deny them that small pittance and instead place them into institutionalised formal care that would potentially cost the govt hundreds of thousands a year you must have rocks in that un-compassionate head of yours.
