What do people think of the possibility that POG was smacked down yesterday on what was probably a low volume day while Asian markets were on holidays, breaking TA support and setting off a wave of stops and fear selling to pre-empt the northwards move of a poor NFP?

I mean if you were those who don't want gold rising, what makes more sense, the above option or having to drop billions after billions of paper contracts to force gold back down when it is trying to run.

I would think it would be much easier to do what we have seen and then even if they let it run on a poor NFP read we only end up back where we were 24 hrs ago?
