You can track share prices via mobile phones. I use 3, and subscribe to their "InfoPack" for $3 a month extra, which includes news, weather, and finance. The finance section lets you track share prices and includes a watchlist. I don't think there is much of a delay to the share prices if any.
Note, you need to be within "3"s 3G network for these features to work.
