So let me get this right. Maq B (MB) put out a report saying Lithium demand will be minor going forward 8-10yrs. However NMT supply will be picked up no dramas and NMT will prosper (Oh by the way we own these shares). Then they bring out unfavourable reports on NMT's near term competitors (GXY and PLS) thereby potentially boosting shares they own.
A possible future scenario (IMO) will be MB will bring out a new Lithium report with new highly favourable estimates of the Lithium demand going forward 10 yrs. They will say we over looked this and didn't calculate this correctly (on purpose but just try and prove it). This took us by surprise (because it suited our prerogative to not include that information).
By this time MB will have taken favourable positions in ASX Lithium stocks, including PLS. Then comes the favourable coverage of those stocks causing an influx of retails investors to purchase at higher prices. With comments such as now that PLS has done this, sorted this out and with our new demand figures we feel that they are now worth many multiples of what we stated before.
Big banks have no dramas misconstruing information to suit their agenda. Just look at the GFC and all those "Triple AAA" rated mortgage bonds. Their is no accountability at the top end and never will be it will always be called an "oversight". It is to hard to prove intent and despite their massive pay packets the CEO's are very rarely held accountable.
However with globalisation and the expansion of technology the barriers that the big end of town has enjoyed for so long are slowly being broken down. If enough retail holders wise up to the games being played the ability of them succeeding decreases.
Of course as always there is risk involved and no company has a 100% guarantee of success. I find that for every down ramper's example of why this is the next big failure, there is an matching example of a company that has gone on to prove the masses wrong and succeed to a large degree. With PLS and my other Lithium stocks I will take a leaf out of the great Dr Michael Burry (and the few others who saw it coming) and bet against Maq B and their band of naysayers and I'm holding strong.
