Ann: Peppermint appoints Australian based global payments expert-PIL.AX, page-23

There are approx 90k MyWepps agents in the Philippines.When all Agents are up and running on the App people without a bank account will use the agents to pay bills,make a remittance etc.When will they be up and running?Who knows?
People with bank accounts with Union Bank(Umobile), Metrobank and UCPB will not need to use MyWepps . Unfortunately the banks have only signed up 100k users in a trial though Peppermint announced in July that the Union Bank intend to roll out the App to all its 2.5 mil account holders.According to Google Play stats this has not begun yet.If it has its at a snails pace. Mr Kain did mention in a recent presentation that Peppermint are now able to facilitate this rollout which would seem to suggest that at the time of the announcement they did not have the capacity to roll it out.
PIL have a lot going on at the moment but it's the Union Bank rollout I would like to see happen asap
