intec ltd profile via aspect huntley Had to see what all the excitement was about with INL today. Those Resource Reserves at Hellyer are indeed huge, and now in production with guaranteed contracts and big, big revenue straight off the bat. Will be looking to get in on Monday with view to multi-bagger potential over the medium to long term. Came across the Intec Ltd Profile via Aspect Huntley while doing some research as follows:

    BUSINESS SUMMARY
Intec Ltd (INL) is involved in the development and commercialisation of minerals processing technology for the base and precious metals industries. The company is focused on utilising hydrometallurgical processes to replace smelting.

    The Intec Process:
The Intec Process is a generic process for the production of pure metals from sulphide concentrates derived from copper, nickel, zinc and lead ores. INL believes that the process has significant advantages over conventional mineral processing technology including a capital and operating cost benefits and environmental benefits. INL intends to gain revenue from royalties, consultancy fees, process engineering fees, revenues from toll milling plants and participation in mining projects.

    The Intec Copper Process:
The Intec Copper Process was developed to recover LME Grade A purity copper from sulphide concentrates. The three stage process can recover several metals other than copper including gold, silver, nickel and lead. Low grade concentrates with high levels of impurities can be treated, allowing the company to optimise metal recoveries and reduce milling unit costs. The process is viable at production capacities as low as 15,000tpa making metal production at the mine site a viable option.

    Other Intec Processes:
Intec Gold Process: During FY05, Barrick Gold successfully completed a 5-week campaign treating its refractory gold material at the Intec Gold Process Pilot Plant. Other Intec processes include the Intec Zinc Process and the Intec Nickel Process and have been demonstrated at a laboratory scale.

    Hellyer Project:
The Hellyer Metals Project was acquired in Jan 04 and IVNL Hellyer Metals Pty Ltd became a wholly-owned subsidiary. The project includes the Hellyer tenements, the 1.5Mt pa Hellyer mill and associated intellectual property, and the Burnie research facility which was transferred to Ammtec. Resources as at June 05 were 10.9Mt @ 2.8% Zn, 3.0% Pb, 0.16% Cu, 2.6g/t Au and 88g/t Ag for 305,000t Zn, 327,000t Pb, 17,400t Cu, 911,000oz Au and 31Moz Ag.
