There are a lot of people here totally married to the stock that as soon as anyone states the slightest negative, seem to want to close down discussion instead of actually discussing the issue. Why is that?

What is actually wrong with discussing the issues instead of stating everyone that brings up the slightest negative has motives or whatever? My motives are the same as everyone else here, to make money on their investments, nothing more and nothing less.

On PLS there have been times I was negative over there as well as times I have been positive, Same here and just about every other stock I have ever bothered to comment on, except CFU that I was always negative on.
I don't have 'motives' on this stock that I know of, except to make money, but others seem to.

I bought in at 29.5/30 was very happy as it went to 53c and then saw it fall much further and faster than stocks do when everything is peachy. So I did what I do with every other stock and try to work out WHY.

The story behind this this thread is the obvious WHY, some people knew this was going to happen and have been bailing out, and yes hit stops along the way. I was one of those that bailed when a large profit is being rapidly eroded. I probably lost 2/3rds of my profit.

The grade of the deposit is very good, the size, when you measure on the actual diagrams is not as high (yet) as many seem to be thinking, but we don't know what the extensions will provide until further drilling.
The issue of transport is a real one, but the answer is a conversion plant at the site. That will cost a lot more money. By the government seizing assets instead of going through courts as they do here, raises the sovereign risk question greatly for anyone that wants to invest big money in Mali. IMO it was/is a really dumb thing for the govt to do.

Will I have another go at investing in BGS, I have no idea. I will follow company announcements carefully and what is happening with RandGold carefully, as monetising the gold through the Morila plant was the aim to provide cash for further investment in the lithium project. It was going to happen in the short term a year ago, and right now, none of us know what is going to happen with that plant.

I'll sit on the sidelines and watch, but don't expect me not to comment just because some don't like facts being raised. I might buy for a short term trade, or a longer term trade, or I might not. I'll look and see what unfolds just like everyone else.

Obe Wan, just brought up some interesting details on the railway yet some are more interested in when he ticked a box or didn't, I find that stuff crazy. I'm a lot more interested in what he knows about the railway track, and exactly what is being fixed, or not, and to what grade.
Has the company inquired of that countries rail authorities about whether we can or can't use the railway for heavy freight?? That is the single most important question and answer for the issue. I have not seen anything in any company report on that issue, has anyone else. Have we approached the rail authorities, or just noted there is a railway??
