Yes it does appear Padcal is still producing although it is difficult to extract any information from the Philex Corp web site. Mines and Geoscience Bureau production figures for Jan-Mar 2003 gives Padcal at 823kgs -so looks like they are not only producing copper but about 100,000 ozs of gold per annum. I knew they were still struggling along with copper but seems they have lifted gold production too. So that officially makes two mines producing gold -as well as the small claim miners -where production is shown as about 7-9 tonne a quarter -or about 40tpa -but I think it is more like 70tpa.
