I've met plenty of emancipated western women, as 90% of my workmates are female nurses.
They can drink and smoke and swear as good as any Aussie bloke I know, and aren't afraid to drop the 'C' word, as well as the 'F' word in the staff room as often as they see fit.
Going out drinking with nurses is certainly not for the faint hearted!!
